Nutrition Basics - 1-day Workshop

We at Positive Health strive to empower people to take responsibility for their own health and this incorporates preventative treatment in the form of massage. However, massage alone will not keep you healthy (although it is a jolly good start!). We have to look at our whole lifestyle and one of the biggest parts of a healthy lifestyle is being aware of what we ingest!  “We are what we eat” say some. And so, to complement the work of learning to massage for relaxation and stress management, Positive Health has been fortunate in obtaining the services of well-known nutritionist Annelie Smith, who will be presenting her series of Healthy Habits workshops for us.

Annelie Smith is a Registered Dietician with more than 13 years experience in solving nutritional problems
 

Annelie's first 5-hour workshop (including a light lunch) will be on Nutrition Basics.

Classes are small so that attention is concentrated, but large enough to be interactive and fun and participants will be left ‘hungering’ for more!  Other workshops will follow on Weight Management, Brain Food (food for increasing your memory), Eating for Energy etc.

Annelie is particularly interested in our 'relationship' with food, what control, or lack of control, we have on nurturing ourselves and the impact that has on our lives. Through solving physical and emotional problems and challenges with food, people find that they can focus on more important things in their lives and live life to the fullest.

So we establish Positive Health!
